System of a Down’s BYOB came on the radio and he thought it was HILARIOUS. 4 minutes of maniacal laughter interspersed with screaming, “WHAT! WHAT! WHAT!”

Nate’s 3rd birthday is tomorrow, a Saturday, so he had a little party at school today. I put together some animal themed gift bags with stickers, stamps, masks, bubbles, etc., and got some mini cupcakes from Cupprimo. His best friend Ishan was there. They’ll both be moving up a grade next week.

The boy has been practicing his “N” for about a week now, so when he started on this page that’s all we were expecting. Then he wrote the “A” and I was surprised. I’d never seen him write an “A”. Then he wrote the “T” and the “E”, each of which was followed by amazement.
